Freshies, if you missed the team meeting, we made an important announcement regarding children and spectators re: Fresh Meat practices. Per our agreement with Parks and Rec for the use of the Key Center, and for safety and liability issues, no children are allowed to attend/observe Fresh Meat practices. This means anyone under the age of 18 is not permitted to be at the Key Center during practice.
We also need to limit the number of spectators/observers at our practices. We know that sometimes people like to observe Fresh Meat practice just to see what it's about before they join. This is ok. What we cannot permit is for friends/family to hang out and watch practice. So if you are relying on someone to give you a ride before/after practice, they will need to drop you off and then pick you up when practice is over. In consideration of safety and liability issues, anyone not skating or interested in joining the Dames as a skater/ref is not permitted to stay at practice. Also, we want to make sure that our practicing skaters feel comfortable and free to learn without an audience.
Please respect these rules and ask if you have questions.
Thanks!
